Test and read after one minute
The test fields should only be dampened with the fluid to be tested for one second. The measuring period takes at least 60 seconds after the test has been made. Reading the results before or significantly after this one minute can lead to incorrect results since the colours in the test fields change over the course of time.
To support regular care complementary to the vet and test your pet's health, test4pet should be repeated on a quaterly basis. Two to three tests on consecutive days provide additional safety.

Application examples for cows, sheep, goats and pigs are similar to horses and dogs. Application examples for cats are more complex and might be supported by a spoon or a scoop to collect the liquid before pouring it over the test fields. Any contamination of the liquid can limit or sophisticate the test results.
If the colour changes in the field "Test result OK" the figure for the urine is in the target range. If the colour changes in the field "Test result NOT OK" the figure is outside the target range. In this case a visit to the vet is recommended for pets.
